In depth
Verdict
Cape Colony is taken to land his hat-trick at the expense of Full Speed and Laterly. The selection has obviously improved since joining Richard Hannon and has really come good of late winning at Kempton and Windsor. He has as a result shot up in the weights though and now runs off a career high mark of 72. But to be fair to him he is only four pounds higher since his last win and if able to recapture that form he can go close once more. Full Speed is unexposed with only five runs under his belt. He caught the eye when finishing second to Tajweed at Redcar last week and looks to be improving with every run so any support in the market should be noted. The same can be said about Laterly who won a maiden at Nottingham at the back end of last season and is sure to come on for his seasonal reappearance at Redcar when finishing in behind Full Speed. But for the winner we return to Cape Colony.
