Verdict
SOLDIER’S CALL is the class-act here after being caught on the line in the Prix De L’Abbaye at Longchamp. He has a penalty for his victory over Well Done Fox in the Group 2 Flying Childers at Doncaster but should be up to the task. Shades Of Blue looks to have more scope than most of these though was undoubtedly disappointing when tackling 6f at Doncaster, her first start since a close third in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. Garrus takes a big step-up in grade after landing a Nottingham conditions race when Broken Spear was third while No Nonsense tackles this trip for the first time and his two victories have come over 6f on Polytrack.
