        Verdict

        David O’Meara remains in cracking form but complicates matters with three entries. French import Hortzadar is on a hat-trick after impressing at Pontefract and Redcar though has a 10lb rise to overcome. He’s probably the stable pick. Beringer has only been raised 3lb for a victory at this level at Newmarket where he finished strongly over that mile. LEDHAM looks the one to be on after a very encouraging reappearance over a mile at Haydock and he’s certain to be suited by the extra while Mutafani looked a very bright prospect when completing a double around this time last year though hasn’t been seen since. Ulshaw Bridge is the type to do well this campaign and Oisin Murphy’s presence is interesting.
