Verdict

Lacework has done nothing wrong and can complete a hat-trick at the expense of Sahrati, Rosbay and Coeur de Lionne to name but a few. Lacework improved again for the step up in trip when scoring at Redcar three weeks ago, looking as though she would prefer an easier surface. She gets that here, and can enhance her future paddock value by going in again under Frankie Dettori. Sahrati definitely handled cut in the ground when coming good at Sandown last time, and deserves a crack at this class 2 affair, while Rosbay is no back number judged on his third to the progressive Spice Route here last time, proving that he stays the trip. Coeur de Lionne is not certain to handle the conditions, but appears well enough weighted so has to merit a mention as well, but Lacework is the pick.
