Verdict
Rousing Encore hasn’t done a lot wrong since completing a double at Pontefract in May but the drop back to 5f on this easy track may not be in his favour. Runner-up to Little Big Bear in the Windsor Castle, ROCKET RODNEY (NAP) is penalised for winning in Listed company at Sandown later but ran right up to that form in the Molecomb at Goodwood and will be hard to beat here. Treasure Trove has placed three times at this level and is one of only two fillies but Bolt Action is just as interesting having looked a little unlucky carrying a big weight in a nursery at Goodwood. Thunder Moor is a course and distance winner and hails from a yard whose juveniles are in sparkling form but he’ll need to take a step forward.
