Plenty of progressive types here and so it is a race to treat with caution. Flawed Genius and Fol Hollow have solid nursery form and should be thereabouts, but we will just side with the twice raced Hitchens. Gary Moore has hit a decent patch of form and his son of the prolific sire Acclamaition was quite a clever winner last time out. He made all the running to beat the 80 rated Aim For Applause by half a length. He didn't have to be pushed too hard and there should be plenty more to come. Flawed Genius and Fol Hollow met at Goodwood last time out with the latter coming out on top. There should be little between them at the weights today, but if the ground comes up soft it should be more favourable for the Dandy Nicholls juvenile. Oasis Wind won nicely last time out and is another worthy of respect on his handicaop debut, but this course should suit the front running style of Hitchens and he gets our vote.
