Verdict

Very little form to go on here but Brave Tin Soldier showed enough on his debut to suggest he can land this decent prize, La Presse and Deadline may provide most danger. The Ballydoye contender put in some good effort when chasing home Chataway at Goodwood, just giving way in the last furlong. He should come on for the experience and looks the best option. La Presse has a similar shout, having just got pipped on her first start at Haydock. The Barry Hills trained juveniles tend to improve with racing and she should make her presence felt. There are some well bred newcomers, including the Mark Johnston trained Deadline. He is a son of Machiavellian who is related to winners in Ireland and the United States. Stable companion Love Dubai and Kevin Ryan's Tomorrow's Dancer are two others to watch in the betting, but on this occasion we will side with experience and plump for Brave Tin Soldier.
