A terrific renewal of the Ebor Handicap and a narrow vote is given to Soulacroix, Signatory, Elusive Dream and Greenwich Meantime are just three of many dangers. Luca Cumani's five-year-old hit winning form in a Ladies event here at York. It was just a steering job for Francesca Cumani as he was very well treated, and following an impressive victory at Goodwood last time he could still be on a decent enough mark. Signatory slaughtered a decent field on his seasonal debut at Newmarket before finding the ground on the fast side at Haydock last time. The more rain the better for this one and he has to be a big danger to the selection if the heavens do open. Greenwich Meantime has been the ante-post gamble and has yet to run a bad race this season. The handicapper may just have his measure at present but he could still be fighting for some place money. Elusive Dream has done nothing wrong and should go close despite this step up in grade. Young Mick would definitely be the horse of the year if he could land this prize and he does look the pick of the remainder, however Soulacroix is on the upgrade and can land this before possibly moving into Group company.
