Verdict

Winning handicappers regularly find enough improvement to land this Listed prize as Set To Music did last year for Michael Bell. He runs impressive Newmarket winner Bite Of The Cherry this time around and Sequence is another easy winner of a handicap stepping up in grade. Cracking Lass makes her belated seasonal debut but was beaten a couple of lengths in this last year and Firdaws has disappointed since finishing third in the Fillies' Mile last term. Lingfield maiden winner Aniseed makes little appeal and Dane Street is persevered with at this level presumably on the strength of her earlier third to subsequent Ribblesdale winner Princess Highway. The latter is trained by Dermot Weld and the Irish trainer runs the lightly-raced PALE MIMOSA in this. She won doing handstands at the Galway festival on her return to action and gets the vote in a hard to call renewal.
