Verdict

Edwardian takes up a big step up in trip after winning over 5f at Naas but his half-brother was successful over 1m2f. Hot Fuss showed promise in his first two runs before scoring over this trip at Salisbury and that form is working out well. Ballymount Boy was second in the Group 2 Richmond at Goodwood after winning at Hamilton and is clearly improving while Cogitate was a debut winner at Newbury and Indian Run beat a subsequent winner at Ascot. LOOSE CANNON made a winning start over track and trip last month, despite showing signs of inexperience. The third and fourth have since fought out a finish at Thirsk and there should be plenty more to come from the Haggas colt.
