Another impenetrable sprint handicap for punters and hardly an ideal 'getting-out stakes'. Olivia Fallow did well to win at Chester last time and connections mean business with Graham Lee booked but BOWSON FRED, fifth in that race, is taken to turn the tables and should give us a good run for our money. Things didn't pan out at all for the Easterby charge that day, which is often the case on the Roodeye and he's easily forgiven that run for which he's been dropped 1lb. He's all about speed over the minimum trip and previous efforts put him in here with definite chances. Straightothepoint and Casterbridge are also noted but Luis Vaz de Torres rates the most interesting opponent. He enjoyed the move to 5f last time when a cosy scorer, is raised an acceptable 5lb and must have more to offer after just four runs for a yard with a good record here.
