Verdict
Strategic Mount is the selection in this tricky affair, with Bandama and Numeric the dangers. A winner at Chester and most recently Goodwood this year, Numeric is progressive and although John Gosden's runner is not proven at the trip, he rarely runs a bad race and can handle the ground. Paul Cole's Strategic Mount has compiled a hat trick of late and won in impressive fashion last time. He may still prove to be a step ahead of the handicapper and has run well without winning on an easy surface. Bandama has won at Newbury and Leicester this season and although finding Strategic Mount just under two lengths too good last time, has a chance to reverse the placing on four pounds better terms. However, Strategic Mount looks an exciting type and gets the vote.
