Verdict
Several top yards have multiple entries. Hackman is one of three Hugo Palmer runners and is preferred to Grey Cuban and Master Franca. Richard Hannon, who has won this in two of the last three years, saddles four and places his two-year-olds superbly in these valuable sales races. Persica improved significantly from his first run at Leicester when bolting up at Salisbury just three days later but the fillies GAIDEN and Dapperling could also go well. The latter has only won once so far but never seems to run a bad race but the former will probably be a much bigger price. Rossa Ryan’s mount pulled much too hard tried over this trip at Goodwood last time and she had no chance from a poor draw in the Queen Mary previously. Earlier placed efforts here and at Windsor have worked out well. Twilight Romance won over the track and trip in June with We Never Stop and Land Lover filling the places while Dragon Leader is 2-2 at Salisbury. Je Ne Sais Quoi has ability but lacks consistency with the Newcastle winner Ambushed having more scope. Ziggy's Condor made a winning debut at Pontefract and Media Shooter beat Bibendum and Stanley Spencer at Wolverhampton 10 days ago so is also worth a second look.
