    Verdict

Appointed won this last year from a 2lb higher mark and though unsuccessful subsequently bounced back with a fine effort in a better class handicap at Ripon. She's conceding plenty of weight to some in-form three-year-olds including Morticia, a comfortable winner at Hamilton but stepping up in class from 6lb higher. FELINE GROOVY came with a late run to score over a mile at Newbury and didn't look suited by Chester on her handicap debut. She's the type to make further progress and can take this for William Haggas. Naqaawa is on the upgrade and a 5lb rise for her Nottingham victory doesn't look excessive and none of the remainder can be dismissed in a tight handicap.
