Verdict
John Kirkup completed a double over this trip at Carlisle before headed in the closing stages over an extra furlong on his nursery debut here a couple of weeks ago. He'll make a bold bid from the same mark but, in receipt of 5lb, VALIDATOR will take some beating. She easily landed a Thirsk maiden and looked certain to complete a double at Sandown but couldn't hold the late thrust of Looks A Million. This much quicker track will be in her favour and she can return to winning ways. Jive Lady had been threatening to win before a very easy victory at Hamilton and there looks more to come while Marnie James was the surprise-but-comfortable winner of a course and distance nursery, though has been hit with a 9lb rise. Chatburn has won a couple of minor races but makes his handicap debut in a much tougher event.
