Bradford welcome back Chev Walker and Kyle Briggs for their final home game of the season on Sunday.
The Bulls, who have lost five of their last six outings, meaning they will once again miss out on the play-offs, are without injured duo Marc Herbert and Shad Royston.
However coach Mick Potter looks set to name Briggs straight into the half-back slot vacated by Australian Herbert, who is ruled out with a broken hand.
Walker, meanwhile, should make his comeback from a broken foot and Shaun Ainscough and James Donaldson could also be recalled.
"Shaun Ainscough is looking likely, Chev Walker is very close and James Donaldson's shoulder is a lot better," said Potter.
"Kyle Briggs is still relatively young and I think he's still got the ability to become a good, solid Super League player and he is likely to play. He did a good job earlier in the season.
"John Bateman will be in contention again and our two hookers have made a good account of themselves in difficult circumstances. They will have gained a lot of experience from this."
Sammut missing
Crusaders finish the season, which will be their last in Super League for the forseeable future after they pulled out of the running for a new three-year licence, with away trips to Bradford and then Wigan.
Jarrod Sammut will not feature against his future employers this weekend, the Bulls-bound half-back having opted to play for Malta on Friday instead.
In a statement, the Wrexham club said: "Crusaders would like to confirm that they did not give him permission to play in this match.
"This week he was declared fit and ready to play in our match against Bradford Bulls this Sunday, an important game for us if we are to finish off the bottom of the Super League table, but he will now be unavailable to play for the Crusaders after choosing Malta over the club."
There is some good news for coach Iestyn Harris, though, with back row forward Andy Bracek set to make his debut.
The former St Helens and Warrington player was signed earlier in the season but has only just fully recovered from a serious knee injury.
Half-back Michael Witt and second rower Hep Cahill are sidelined for the visitors, but forwards Mark Bryant, Jason Chan and Paul Johnson are in line to return.
Bradford squad: Addy, Ah Van, Bateman, Briggs, Burgess, Donaldson, Elima, Hargreaves, Jeffries, Kearney, Kopczak, Lynch, Langley, Platt, O'Brien, Raynor, Sibbit, Sykes, Walker.
Crusaders squad: Schifcofske, Martin, Mellars, Reardon, O'Hara, Withers, Bryant, Chan, Winternstein, J. James, Flower, Kear, White, Johnson, Moore, Lupton, L. Williams, Tansey, Bracek.
