Leroy Cudjoe scored two tries and set up two more as Huddersfield secured fourth place in the engage Super League with a 50-12 thrashing of Harlequins.
Danny Brough crossed the try-line as well as kicking seven goals, while Joe Wardle and Jermaine McGillvary also grabbed doubles in the nine-try thumping.
The Giants, who went into the clash having lost five out of their last six matches, have now ensured that they cannot be eliminated in the first week of the play-offs.
Chris Melling and Tony Clubb touched down for Harlequins but the visitors never managed to get into the game, as the hosts won their penultimate contest of the regular season in fine style.
Huddersfield made a flying start as Cudjoe, who signed a new four-year contract last week, latched onto a pass from Luke Robinson to dive over the line after just seven minutes.
Cudjoe, playing in his 100th game for the club, also halted a Quins breakaway on 13 minutes, stepping in to make a timely interception after Robinson's misplaced pass had allowed Chris Bailey to race free.
He was in the thick of the action again on the half-hour when he collected a high kick from Brough and managed to offload to the oncoming Graeme Horn, who took the ball in for the try.
Cruise control
Further first-half tries from Wardle and McGillvary put the Giants in cruise control, although Quins managed to get on the board before the interval.
Kevin Brown's misjudged pass was taken in by winger Chris Melling, who raced clear from the halfway line to score near the posts.
Huddersfield assumed control again at the start of the second half, with McGillvary crossing for his second try in the fourth minute after the restart.
Cudjoe then created another score on 53 minutes, selling the Quins defence a dummy and bursting clear before passing inside for Brough to finish.
Brough converted - he would eventually add the extras to seven out of the nine tries - meaning he has now kicked 102 goals since joining the Giants.
With a massive 34-6 lead, the Giants took their foot off the pedal slightly and conceded a sloppy try as Mark Calderwood capitalised on some slack defending to put Clubb in for an easy score.
But Huddersfield sparked back into life during the closing stages, with Wardle getting his second of the match after McGillvary had palmed down a Brough kick.
Cudjoe then completed his brace and right on the hooter full-back Scott Grix powered over the line after being played in by McGillvary.
