Brett Hodgson scored a second-half hat-trick and kicked eight goals as Warrington stunned Crusaders 56-16 at the Racecourse Ground.
The Australian full-back starred as the Wolves turned on the style after the break, scoring 28 points without reply amd taking their try-tally to 10 in the match.
Warrington had shut out three sides last month alone but while the Welsh outfit crossed three times before the break, a 50-plus points haul will please coach Tony Smith.
Centre Matt King and England prop Adrian Morley had already put the visitors on the board before Crusaders responded in the 17th minute through Elliot Kear.
The hosts continued to press and Hep Cahill pulled another try back before the half-hour mark, and they were in front for the only time on 33 minutes when Jarrod Sammut pounced, Clinton Schifcofske's goal edged them ahead.
But Warrington hit back through Ben Westwood, the forward going in from close range, before Ryan Atkins raced the length of the field unopposed to score.
Chris Bridge then linked up with the impressive King and Paul Wood was on hand to finish off their good work and Warrington were comfortable 28-16 leaders at the turn.
Hodgson crossed the line himself and then went in for a quickfire second as any hopes Crusaders had of mounting a comeback were put to bed.
Hodgson then completed his hat-trick - he finished with 28 points on the night - while Wood got his second and Richie Myler scored a deserved try as he made one last push to win a starting spot for England next week.
