Harlequins failed to score a single point as Hull KR cruised to a 34-0 victory in their Super League clash at the Twickenham Stoop on Saturday.
Jake Webster powered over for two tries, one either side of half-time to keep the Robins' play-off hopes alive and effectively end those of Quins in the process.
The win did much to ease the pressure on under-fire Rovers coach Justin Morgan, whose future at the club has come in for speculation following a recent poor run.
Liam Colbon, Blake Green, Clint Newton and Michael Dobson also crossed for the Robins, with Dobson kicking five goals.
Three times in a tight opening quarter the hosts threatened to score but it was the visitors who broke the deadlock when Webster brushed off Kyle Briggs' tackle to cross in the corner.
Pressure
Despite the Londoners enjoying plenty of the ball and territory, the Rovers defence coped easily with Quins' lack of pace and on the stroke off half time Morgan's men struck again when Webster sent Colbon over in the corner.
Webster's second came just moments after the restart when Dobson opened up a gap for the centre, who jinked his way through the Quins defence before sprinting in under the sticks.
The home side continued to pressure but they were simply unable to convert - their attacks kept on falling short and when Ben Fisher broke clear Green forced his way over for the Robins' fourth.
And there was still time before the final whistle for Newton and Dobson to cross for further tries to complete the victory.
