Purdham: Set for Quins return

Harlequins skipper Rob Purdham is expected to lead his side for the first time in over two months when Hull KR travel to the Stoop on Saturday.

Purdham has not played since the middle of April after picking up a shoulder injury but has been named in the 19-man squad to face the Robins by Quins coach Rob Powell.

Karl Pryce also comes back into the squad after missing the last two matches, as the London-based side look to put their season back together after ending a five-match losing streak against Wakefield last time out.

Hull KR expect to have centre Jake Webster back from a three-match lay-off with a shoulder injury while hooker Ben Fisher also returns.

Sam Latus and England winger Peter Fox are back in contention as coach Justin Morgan rings the changes in the hope of finding some form.

Defeats

Morgan is under pressure after back-to-back defeats but insists he is determined to see out the 18 months left on his contract.

The visitors have won just once in their last four matches and are five points adrift of eighth-placed Hull in the race for the final play-off position.

Morgan said: "I think the next month of fixtures will dictate on how good a season we're going to have. It starts with this one. It's a huge game in the context of the season."

He added: "It's not all doom and gloom. We're not the first team to have forty points put past us by the best team in the competition.

"I did say after the game that the first half performance wasn't acceptable and I still believe that. The team is still a quality team and this weekend is a huge weekend for us."
