Leicester City midfielder Andy King is travelling to Derby County to discuss a loan deal, Sky Sports News understands.
King has made just one appearance for Leicester this season and manager Claude Puel is happy for him to leave in search of regular football.
Earlier this week, Puel said: "We wait and we hope we find a solution for Andy because he works hard in training and tries his best.
"He has a professional attitude and I would like to find a solution [for him] to get game time. I have a lot of respect for Andy and it will be a good opportunity for him."
King, who has 50 caps for Wales, has made 379 appearances for Leicester since making his debut for the club against Wolves in October, 2007.
He made 25 appearances, scoring twice, during their Premier League title-winning season in 2015/16.
King is one of two possible midfield departures from Leicester on Deadline Day.
Portugal international Adrien Silva has joined Monaco in a deal that will see Belgium international Youri Tielemans move to Leicester.
