Excellent in-ring action on the final stop before WWE Fastlane
Saturday 21 February 2015 11:55, UK
Paige defeated Cameron on the latest edition of Smackdown but fellow Brit Bad News Barrett slipped up against R-Truth.
Paige geared up for her Divas Championship match against current titlist Nikki Bella at Fastlane by tapping out former Funkadactyl Cameron with the PTO, right in front of the watching Bella Twins.
Barrett, meanwhile, became distracted by the man he will defend the Intercontinental Championship against on Sunday, Dean Ambrose, and was caught in a roll-up by rapper Truth.
Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns won’t be fighting for a belt at Fastlane, which you can watch live on Sky Sports 1 and Sky 1 on Sunday, but instead for the chance to compete for one at WrestleMania.
The victor of Bryan-Reigns will meet WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar at March’s showpiece event and both grapplers will head into their bout off the back of Smackdown wins.
Bryan submitted The Miz with the “Yes!” Lock, while January’s Royal Rumble winner Reigns downed ex-Wyatt Family member Luke Harper with a spear.
Elsewhere, Seth Rollins relied on help from The Authority’s muscle, Kane and Big Show, to finally defeat Dolph Ziggler with a Curb Stomp, but The Aerialist was not finished mauling the Show-Off.
Rollins, Kane, Big Show, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury battered the fan favourite and his pals, Ryback and Erick Rowan, laying the foundations for a three-on-three match at Fastlane.
Ryback and Rowan – who beat Kane and lost to Big Show on Smackdown respectively – will team with Ziggler to take on Kane, Big Show and Rollins in Memphis on Sunday evening.
Elsewhere on the blue brand, Rusev, still fuming after being attacked by John Cena on Raw, laid The Usos, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro to waste, ensuring that the bout between Jimmy Uso and Kidd ended in a no-contest.
Plus, The Acension aka Konnor and Viktor, continued their winning run, knocking off the sprightly Big E and Xavier Woods from The New Day with Fall of Man.
Watch WWE Fastlane, live on Sky Sports 1 and Sky 1 from 1am on Sunday.
