Raw and SmackDown were both under siege again this week, with five fresh faces - and Paige - laying waste the red and blue women's divisions.

On Monday night Paige led Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose down a path of destruction while on Tuesday, Ruby Riot joined forces with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan to do likewise.

Paige is well known to everyone and is one of the most popular female wrestlers in WWE history; but who are the NXT invaders? We take a look at the background of the new blood...

Ruby Riot

Ruby Riot

Riot has been with NXT since January 2017, and prior to that enjoyed a five-year career on the independent scene.

She worked under the names Heidi Lovelace and Dori Prange - her actual name - on house shows before making her NXT television debut on February 22 with a win over Kimber Lee.

Riot has been used entirely as an out-and-out babyface in developmental and spent most of the summer feuding with Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in tag matches alongside with Asuka or Sarah Logan.

She was a notable absence in the fatal four-way at NXT Takeover: Houston on Survivor Series weekend to establish the new women’s champion, although she did face Deville at that event in a match broadcast on this week’s episode of NXT.

Sonya Deville

Deville - who has also competed under her real name Daria Berenato - has been with NXT for three years after an 11th-place finish in the 2015 edition of Tough Enough.

With her background in judo, it is perhaps no surprise that her better matches have come against the hard-hitting Nikki Cross in recent non-televised events.

Deville is a keen follower of mixed martial arts and previously co-hosted YouTube panel show UFC AfterBuzz.

She technically already has a WWE main roster match under her belt, having lost to Macey Estrella at a show in Orlando as part of this year’s WrestleMania Axxess and has a strike-based and intense in-ring style.

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan is a former model and competitive cheerleader but she was into wrestling from an early age and helped build a makeshift ring in her back garden with her four brothers.

Morgan was signed to NXT in 2015 and made a big impression on her debut, portraying a fan as she leapt on Tyler Breeze during his entrance.

She had recently been enjoying something of a push in NXT house shows, and in August worked a six-woman tag match in Tampa as part of a team including Becky Lynch and Naomi which beat Carmella, Lana, Natalya and Tamina.

Mandy Rose

Mandy Rose

Rose was the 2014 World Beauty Fitness & Fashion Bikini Champion and in 2015 finished second in Tough Enough, behind Sara Lee, signing a five-year contract with WWE.

The hugely strong 26-year-old recently posted a video on Instagram of her performing a 305lb sumo deadlift but has found wins hard to come by during her time in NXT.

She made a memorable appearance on NXT television as part of a six-woman tag team which also included Alexa Bliss and Deville and is remembered for Corey Graves’ over-the-top reaction to seeing her for the first time.

Sarah Logan

Sarah Logan

Logan is the most recent recruit of the five to NXT but has been working on the indies and in other WWE roles for several years.

She made her pro debut in 2011, working as “Crazy” Mary Dobson - complete with mismatched eye colours - for several promotions around the world, and was trained in Japan by former WWE superstar Taka Michinoku.

Earlier this year, she was a participant in the Mae Young Classic but was eliminated in the first round by Mia Yim.
