Verdict
Lord Atterbury has been in good form in point-to-points recently and showed regulation fences were no problem to him when an easy winner at Leicester last month. Open to plenty of improvement at the age of seven, David Pipe is taken to go one better than in last year's renewal with Barryscourt Lad. Arctic Times showed little for Henrietta Knight but has been an improved performer in hunter chases in Ireland this term, winning at Limerick last month but a bigger danger to the selection in Hazel Reilly. Sarah Dent's 12-year-old has done little wrong this season with wins in similar company at Catterick and Kelso followed by a gallant defeat behind Coole Abbey at Newcastle. She should again be thereabouts. Paddy For Paddy lost no caste in defeat behind Aller Moor at Exeter last month and is another to consider but we are happy to stick with the Pipe horse, who gets the vote.
