Verdict
Mouncey Castle a good second behind Red Socialite is taken to score, he is from the bang in form Philip Hobbs is proven in the conditions and he will be hard to beat with Paul Flynn again taking the ride. Quedex rates the main danger he was a good fourth in a competitive handicap last time out under similar conditions and this represents a big drop in class. He may also be well suited by the drop back in trip. Wilfram is another who could go well he showed improved form last time out on fast ground when second behind Stars Delight and a reproduction of that effort would give him definite place claims. Another Diamond was third behind Madam Flora last time out and is another worthy of consideration. Of the remainder Harbour Pilot is from a shrewd yard and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
