In depth
Verdict
A field large in numbers but low in quality and a chance is taken on Kadlass who was a good second behind Knightsbridge king last time out. That was his first run in two years and he is sure to strip fitter here. Knightsbridge King again rates the danger but he has to give six pounds to Kadlass on this occasion and there was only a neck between them last time out off level weights. Katy The Duck was a good winner at Bangor last time out when defeating Right. However she may not be as effective on this faster ground. Greensmith Lane was second behind Neptune in a similar contest last time out but this looks a much more competitive affair and he needs to improve to score. Arribilo would have a chance on his best form but he has become very disappointing of late. Orange Tree Lad would be another to consider on his best form and now that he has his favoured fast ground he could go well at a big price.
