In depth

Verdict

Many of these contested handicaps at The Festival. No Ordinary Joe and Buddy One filled the places behind Iroko in the Martin Pipe while Camprond led over the last in the Coral Cup before finishing third with Good Risk At All, Captain Conby and Nells Son behind along with Off Your Rocco. Benson was pulled up but had won the Morebattle at Kelso previously. The drop back in trip might help The Bosses Oscar but Playful Saint heads in the opposite direction following his third in the Imperial Cup at Sandown. Dargiannini has gone up a level since joining Harry Derham and looks a threat to all, despite a further 7lb rise, and Lucy Wadham’s tough mare Martello Sky won off a 3lb higher mark when last appearing in a handicap. Following wind surgery, the lightly-raced PULL AGAIN GREEN ran well for a long way on his return to action at Kempton. He can reverse that form with Harbour Lake and give a good account of himself here at decent odds with Liam Harrison’s claim in his favour.
