FLYING DOCTOR may be able to complete a hat-trick by getting the better of Manadam and Boyoboy in an open race. Elliott Cooper has a strong hand here as he also saddles Wor Rom who also comes here seeking a hat-trick but he may just struggle from a mark that's 11lbs higher given that he had to work quite hard at Huntingdon. Flying Doctor has a 14lb cumulative penalty as a steadier but he has won his last two starts as he's liked and it may not be enough to prevent him from going in again. Boyoboy has claims of reversing recent form with him on a strict reading of the weights as he was only just over three lengths behind the selection at Wetherby and meets him on significantly better terms. Manadam has been an infrequent winner over the years but returned to form with a good run at Perth and is extremely well handicapped on his old form. Glen Rouge remains feasibly handicapped following his win at Uttoxeter and Ballyvesey represents a yard that's enjoying a good run but Flying Doctor can answer the call.
