Verdict

Letsbeclearaboutit drops back in trip after finishing fourth in the Albert Bartlett but DARK RAVEN heads in the opposite direction following his sixth in the Supreme Novices’. Being out of an Oscar mare, the extra half-mile should suit Willie Mullins’ gelding. Springwell Bay has impressed since being stepped up in distance and still has scope and Authorised Speed won over an extended 2m3f at Lingfield in the autumn. You Wear It Well was only second and Crambo was pulled up when Hermes Allen easily won the Challow at Newbury in December but the winner was a disappointing favourite in the Ballymore last month and the forecast rain would not be in his favour. Irish Point won a Grade 3 at Naas last time and an earlier head second behind Marine Nationale at Fairyhouse reads well so he should be in the firing-line.
