    Verdict

The first of five handicaps on a very tricky card. Silk Run stays much further but won over a slightly shorter trip at Chepstow on her first run since wind surgery. Stop Talking has won four of her last five with her only recent defeat coming on heavy going at Newcastle. Peggies Venture returned from a break to beat a couple of in-form rivals at Kempton and has every chance if that has blown away a few cobwebs but it may be too soon to give up on RATOUTE YUTTY, who still has untapped potential over hurdles and has been dropped a further pound since finding 2m around Stratford too sharp.
