Verdict
An interesting race with the presence of Davids Lad but we will head for another Irish raider Rheindross with Mac Hine and Spinofski also given respect. Arthur Moore's forays across the sea are rarely are too far away and he has nominated Rheindross for this race. The horse finished third in a listed chase on reappearance this term and with stamina likely to be a premium, the drop back in trip should not be of much concern. Mac Hine is likely to be popular following a recent victory at Worcester. He is prone to making the odd error at his fences and there will be no hiding place in this race. Spinofski is something of an enigma from a punting perspective. He looked to need his first run this term and while he often travels well in his races, he doesn't always do a lot in a finish. That said, he has a decent enough weight and conditions look ideal. Davids Lad is likely to be here again come April time. Connections rarely rush him back to the racetrack so a watching brief is advised. Asparagus is in fair form of late but Mister McGoldrick let the form down last week and this looks tougher. Mudlark Joe Deane looks best of the rest. A good contest in prospect with Rheindross offered up as our likely winner.
