Verdict

A poor turn out which bar a fall can go the way of Tramantano. The selection won on his chase debut at Cheltenham and did it in impressive fashion. He was clearly still going as well as anything when coming to grief at the notorious second last at Cheltenham last time out. As long as his confidence is still in tact he will take some beating. His only rival Cedrus Libani won on his chase debut also. He was rated 118 over hurdles and was good enough to finish mid division in the Supreme Novices Hurdle in the Spring. Looking at the chase form though he looks certain to be chasing is only rival home.
