In depth

Verdict

Cantgeton, Dev and Rowdy Yates look the three to concentrate on in this novices chase and the vote is given to the last named. The selection has won his last two races in good style notably when beating Master T. Granted this represents a rise in class but he looks progressive and he is taken to win again. Cantgeton rates the main danger as he beat Donovan last time out. However he was all out on that occasion and he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Leslingtaylor was a fair hurdler and is from a shrews yard but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect on a stiffer track. Marodima was a fair second behind Tramantano last time and is another with place claims but in a race where few can be ruled out for the winner we return to the progressive Rowdy Yates.
