    Richard Hannon has won two of the last five renewals but Spell was engaged in the opener at Nottingham yesterday. THE IRISH ROVER cost 150,000gns and made an encouraging start at Dundalk, staying on in the closing stages. His stable is still beginning to flex its considerable muscles and it will be a surprise if he’s beaten today. The filly Vikivaki ran a nice race at Newcastle on debut and is the one most likely to chase him home as Getchagetchagetcha is seeing a racecourse for the first time.
