In depth

Verdict

Mason Jar is improving but the handicapper is taking no chances with the Uttoxeter and Kempton winner. Fakenham second Northofthewall also looks harshly treated while Sizing Tara came unstuck off this mark at Exeter and looks held by Eclair Des Sablons on the form book. Softer going would be a concern for Thibault and patience is wearing thin with Dorking Boy. TEGEREK pulled hard but only weakened on the run-in at Carlisle last month. Second earlier at Chepstow, he gets one more chance ahead of the less-exposed Rebel Leader and the returning Megalodon.
