In depth

Verdict

Adjali showed up well in most of the top juvenile hurdles last season but shoulders a big weight on his handicap debut. Red Force One takes a huge step up after winning a novice event at Fakenham but has plenty of scope and wouldn’t be running in this grade unless thought capable. Jolly's Cracked It goes well fresh and this is his track though he’s still 2lb higher than when third in this two years ago. Lisp made a winning reappearance last season and ended his campaign with a fifth in the County Hurdle while course and distance winner Didtheyleaveuoutto wasn't given a hard time at Galway in August once his chance had gone. Gumball led for a long way back over hurdles at Market Rasen but FLASHING GLANCE was a fast-finishing fourth and seems to be running into form. Stan Sheppard takes off 3lb here and Tom Lacey’s charge could be a bit of value if the pace is strong enough.
