Verdict
Hatcher is only six and remains unexposed over fences. Ballywood is a year younger and did well last season so further improvement is expected. Clondaw Castle could be one to follow this winter while Speredek has a touch of class and takes no prisoners. Cap St Vincent has a good strike-rate but Capeland may need to drop a few pounds, though makes more appeal than stablemate Diego Du Charmil. A winner over course and distance a little under a year ago, CAID DU LIN (NAP) was only beaten a head on a return visit in March. He was probably given too much to do on his reappearance at Chepstow and can give Richard Newland’s stable back-to-back victories in this. Imperial Presence goes well fresh so could reward each-way support, though is suited by a bit further nowadays.
