Global Citizen was a smart novice last season, winning a Grade 2 at Kempton in February. He makes his handicap debut and should go close, despite top weight. Fidux defied a big weight to score at Southwell and makes more appeal than hat-trick seekers Caius Marcius and Simply The Betts but has to give 10lb to MAGIC DANCER (NAP), including Richard Patrick’s claim. Kerry Lee’s charge was given plenty to do at Cheltenham last week but stayed on best of the rest behind easy winner Storm Rising - he also ran a nice race in a Grade 3 here last season. Sussex Ranger faces a tough task for a four-year-old and Divin Bere is probably best watched until showing signs of a revival.
