Verdict
This very lucrative handicap has attracted a competitive field including five from David O'Meara's yard. Danny Tudhope's presence on Summerghand suggests he's the stable pick as he's been running exceptionally well all summer without managing a victory. His close fourth in the Ayr Gold Cup was another fine effort and connections must believe he'll stay the trip having never raced beyond 6f. Raising Sand has won four times here including a heritage handicap in July on good to soft when the first four were drawn high. He's closely tied in with Rip Orff, last year's runner-up, and David Elsworth's charge has worked his way back to top form. Qaysar has won four of his last five and looks to have more to offer while the hat-trick seeking Casanova is improving rapidly, though this is a leap in class. KYNREN hasn't won since his two-year-old days but goes well here as his second place in the Victoria Cup suggests. He's handed the vote as Bedouin's Story is 9lb higher than when landing a Class 3 handicap at York in July. Raydiance was engaged in the 3.10 here yesterday.
