Sextant started off the season with a victory on good to soft here from a mark of 89 and is now on 108 after winning another three races, including a Chester Listed race last month. Wells Farhh Go hasn't quite fulfilled early promise but has won three Group 3 contests and a Listed race and won't mind the conditions. Faylaq has won three of his last four and was only just beaten in a Class 2 handicap here, though takes a step up in grade unlike MORANDO. Andrew Balding's grey has been mixing it with the best this season, beating Kew Gardens eight lengths in the Ormonde Stakes at Chester and just failing to concede Technician 12lb in similar grade at Newbury in August. The filly Vivid Diamond seems better over further while Listed winners Raakib Alhawa and Surrey Thunder take a step up in class.
