Verdict

LADY ECLAIR is still on the upgrade and she can return to winning ways. Mark Johnston's Danehill Dancer filly was fancied by her trainer at Goodwood and she ran a blinder to finish within four lengths of Ghimaar; the ground and trip will suit and she can carry her hefty weight to victory. Goodwood specialist Woolfall Treasure looks opposable off a mark of 93, Bernie The Bolt has plenty to prove after a couple of big race flops, whilst Colloquial runs the track well and a 3lb rise for his win last month leaves him fairly-treated. He's closely linked with Hevelius who has bumped into several of these this year, but is opposable along with the game front-runner La Vecchia Scuola who is better than able to show at York last time when unable to dictate.
