In depth

Verdict

First Cat, Tartan Trip and Koo And The Gang take a drop in class and could figure in this company. Cruiser is another dropping down a grade and in better form than his recent form figures would suggest, but Sunset Kitty found things tougher off a higher mark at Newmarket last time after landing a double. SHAMIR gets the nod in an open contest. His recent win at Kempton was his fourth on the Polytrack and he can race off a 1lb lower mark back on the turf. Effectively a winner without a penalty here, Jo Crowley's charge can go in again on only his third start on this surface.
