The once useful Tamagin has something to prove after finishing tailed off on his reappearance and Mac's Power is 10lb higher than October's win at Doncaster. Singeur has every chance on his best form over 5f, however, while Piazzo San Pietro scored at Haydock last time and is closely matched with Lutine Bell and Secret Witness on that running. Doncaster winner Dungannon will need to improve again off a 5lb higher mark and the less-exposed RITUAL is preferred. He ran out a cosy winner on his reappearance at Sandown when registering his fourth victory in a row and has scope for further improvement. L'Ami Louis is another to consider.
