Verdict
Not the best race from a betting point of view to start proceedings at Ascot. Puma has the best racecourse form having improved all season before disappointing slightly last time out over a mile. Back over seven furlongs here Richard Hannon's charge should be happier on a straight course and as the TEAMtalk selection will be hard to beat. Binanti was fairly impressive at Goodwood a couple of weeks ago showing his liking for this trip and a fast surface. He should give the selection most to do. The line-up is completed by My Daisychain who put up a reasonable effort at Pontefract on his debut and is entitled to progress. Lack of experience however might count against him here.
