        Verdict

        If fit enough for his seasonal reappearance Iris's Gift should make light work of the opposition on his hurdling debut and has to be the TEAMtalk selection. Jonjo O'Neill's five-year-old had some decent form in bumpers last term, culminating in a respectable second at Aintree. The son of Gunner B looks a decent recruit to the novice hurdling ranks and should be too good for his rivals. The ex-Polish trained Dancer Polish has the best form of those to have raced over hurdles but does have a penalty to carry for his win at Uttoxeter, while Astormydayiscoming lost no caste in defeat in another race at the same venue on his debut over timber. John Upson's exposed All Guns Blazing looks best of the rest.
