Verdict
Docofthebay has done little wrong of late and with an influence for handling cut in the ground on the dam's side of his pedigree, Jamie Osborne's colt gets the vote ahead of Bold Abbott and Shadow The Wind. The last mentioned stepped up on his Newmarket debut when landing a Newbury maiden last time and has to be respected but Ed Vaughan's colt may be a shade high in the weights so may be best watched. The Alan Jarvis-trained Love On Sight is not certain to handle the cut in the ground and may be best left out of calculations. Teen Ager looks to be going the right way and could be of interest, although more solid claims are probably held by Bold Abbot. Amanda Perrett's colt handled cut in the ground at Sandown last time and has to be respected but Docofthebay has plenty going for him and he looks the one to be on.
