Verdict

The highest rated sprinter in the world, Nature Strip travels over from Australia with plenty of confidence behind him. He’s taken an early lead in his last three victories but GOLDEN PAL (NAP) will have something to say about that. Wesley Ward’s speedster disappointed fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time in last year’s Nunthorpe at York but has won all three subsequent starts without the headgear including the Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint. Last year’s runner-up Arecibo had King's Lynn behind but the latter reversed running in the Temple Stakes at Haydock in May when also beating Twilight Calls by a head with a below par Winter Power behind. Man Of Promise beat stablemate Lazuli at Meydan at the start of the year and is also preferred to Irish raider Mooneista.
