Verdict

WINTER'S NIGHT accounted for good yardstick Acclamazing on her reappearance over 7f here last month and was unlucky not to follow up when third to Sagramor in a better race at Haydock next time, where she encountered traffic problems. Effective on any surface, Clive Cox's filly has clearly improved over the winter and can take this en route towards gaining some black type later in the season. It's interesting to see Michael Bell has opted to send the unexposed Sweetie Time here without a prep race and she could run well at decent odds, while Goodwood winner Dubai Queen seems sure to attract market support again after finishing second at Newmarket on her latest start. Humdrum is a consistent sort and won on her return to action at Kempton while Western Aristocrat's run in the opener will be a pointer to the chances of Rhythm Of Light, second to the colt at Haydock last time. The improving Rougette may be best of the rest as Nottingham winner Traffic Sister has a bit to find with Secret Love on last year's form.
