Verdict

Derby form is not always a good guide for this so though Humphrey Bogart finished fifth at Epsom, ahead of Across The Stars, and beat Carntop in the Lingfield Derby Trial, others are preferred. Beacon Rock steps up to 1m4f for the first time but was third to Harzand over 1m2f on heavy going at Leopardstown in April and beat stable companion Housesofparliament in a slowly-run Group 3 at the Curragh last month. Linguistic is tried in blinkers but doesn't look the most enthusiastic and maidens Lustrous Light and Muntahaa will need huge improvement. CHOREOGRAPHER had no luck at all in the Dante at York and was keeping on at the finish. The extra yardage here has to be in his favour and he should handle conditions as he beat a subsequent winner on good to soft at Windsor on his racecourse debut.
