Verdict

A winner at Nottingham, HE’S MY BOY went close again at Brighton three weeks ago. This is no tougher and James Fanshawe’s charge gets the vote. Little Lord Nelson has yet to win a handicap but has gone close on the all-weather this year while Roxie Lot dead-heated for first at Kempton in April but was beaten in this higher grade back at the same track. World Record landed a double at the end of last year and drops in class today but Shining Romeo and Attain are better over further.
